Bread Lame Sourdough Scorer

Bread Lame (pronounced LAHM) is a sourdough/bread-making tool used to score the dough before you bake it. Our bread lame was designed to be simple to use, comfortable to hold, and give the user the most precision and control of their cuts.

Each lame is sold with (1) razor blade, (1) mounting screw, and (1) mounting nut. The razor blade has three mounting holes, and you select the depth of the cut. Replacement blades are easily purchasable in most men's shaving sections at stores near you. 

Each bread lame starts as a piece of sustainably sourced Iowan hardwood and is then carved by hand by our artisans, sanded by hand, and then finished with our food-safe SpoonButta beeswax & olive oil finish.
